Fiachra’s remains will leave O’Kanes Funeral Home, 116-118 Donegall Street, Belfast, BT1 2GX, on Thursday 28th December at 1.15 p.m. to arrive at Roselawn Crematorium for a Service at 2.00 p.m. Deeply regretted by his loving son, father, brother and family circle. Fiachra was my English teacher during my years at high school in Forlì, Italy.
He was the first one to teach me about James Joyce and I cannot forget about this great gift he gave all of us.
He was a great teacher and a very special human being, who knew how to create a good mood with students like we were at that time.
I’m very sad for this loss.
