17th August 2017, at his home 3 Station Road, Eglinton, beloved son of the late William and Martha, dear brother of Ben and the late John, Willie, Mary, Tommy and Paddy and a dearly loved uncle.

Friends and family are welcome at his nephew’s home, 18 Lower Airfield Road, Doneybrewer.

His remains will be removed from there on Saturday at 7pm to Star of the Sea Church Faughanvale for funeral mass on Sunday at 12 noon.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please. If wished, donations in lieu of flowers to Marie Curie or Foyle Hospice c/o W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU or any family member.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

We were so sorry to hear about Jim, but glad that he is now enjoying Eternal Rest with Our Father in Heaven where he is no longer suffering.
He was one of our favourite customers in the chemist shop from the beginning when we started in 1955. It was a pleasure to talk to him and he always wore a lovely smile. A great man has left a void in this unhappy world but he will be remembered as a bright star in our memories.
Our sincere condolences to Sinead and all the family and relations and we will remember Jim and all of you in our prayers and Masses Paddy and Jackie Sebastopol, California. Saturday 19 August 2017
