Adam David NEWELL

Andrew, Mary, Megan, Jemma and the family of the late Adam Newell, have so many people who we would like to thank, the people on site who tried to help Adam until the Ambulance Service arrived, the Paramedics for trying so hard to save Adam, the PSNI, the coroners for getting Adam back to us as quick as they could, R Steenson and Son Funeral Services for making the preparations for the funeral, the flowers and making everything as stress free as possible, the Rev Canon W B Paine for the beautiful service, both at Adam’s home and in the church, to Cookstown High School and East Tyrone Cycling Club for the guard of honour, the organist, the church warden and the grave diggers.

We would also like to thank all our families, friends, Adam’s friends, work colleagues, neighbours and local businesses for their kind support and calling at Adam’s home and bringing food and cards etc.

Thank you to everyone on Wednesday 20th October 2021 who carried Adam’s coffin, lined the streets, lined the roads, lined the Church Lane for Adam’s final resting place at Donaghendry Parish Church in Stewartstown, the people who directed traffic we really do appreciate everything you did for us.

We are sorry but due to covid we weren’t able to provide tea and coffee after the service for everyone who graced us with their presence.

Adam was taken from us all far too soon but he made a lasting impression everywhere he went. This has left a massive hole in our hearts, not only for us his parents and sisters but also grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and employers which we don’t know how to repair.
As this has been written with eyes full of tears, thank you again to everyone who helped out in any way at this time and may God be with you all. Adam was a STAR in the making, a STAR in our hearts and is now a STAR in the night sky. Gone but certainly not forgotten.

We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
