Agnes DEVLIN
We, the family of the late Agnes Devlin R.I.P. wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who supported and sympathised with us in our recent loss.
Sincere thanks to all who attended Agnes’s wake and funeral mass, who watched via webcam, who called to the house, sent mass/sympathy cards, sent letters, floral tributes, telephoned and sent messages via social media.
Thank you to all who provided food to the wake house, to QC’s for the food after the service, to our kind friends and neighbours who lined the route and supported us throughout.
Thanks to Peter O’Hagan who always made sure Agnes’s gardens were kept neat and tidy.
Thank you to Michael who piped Agnes from her home to the chapel, to Margaret Anne Conlon and Patrick Slevin for the beautiful singing and to Agnes’s Great Grandson Foinn, for his solo on the Tin Whistle.
We would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Coagh Medical Practice, also thanks to the Marie Curie and out of hours Nurses for their support day and night.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to “The Girls” from the trust, who attended to Agnes’s needs four times a day, your compassion, dignity and respect towards her will never be forgotten.
A special Thanks to Agnes’s granddaughters, Fiona and Anna, who stayed with her days and nights to give the family respite.
A special word of thanks to Fr Francis Coll for his pastoral care of Agnes over the years, for celebrating her funeral mass with his kind words and prayers, this brought much comfort to us all.
Furthermore, a word of thanks to John Spratt for the digging of the grave, to Niall Loughran Funeral Directors, for the dignified and respectful way in carrying out the funeral arrangements, we would never have managed without them.
Months Mind Mass will be offered for your intentions on Saturday 15th April 2023 at 7pm in the Church of St. Joseph and St. Malachy’s, Drummullan
