Agnes Slevin
family of the late Agnes Slevin, Passed away 5th June 2026, would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported and cared for our dear mother throughout her later years and during her final journey.
We are deeply thankful to Dr Laura Donnell and the doctors in Irvinestown and Grange practice,
Nurses and carers in South West Acute Hospital, Meadow View Care Home and Three Rivers Nursing Home and all the healthcare professional whose kindness , compassion and dedication helped ensured she was always cared for with great dignity and respect. You professional care brought so much comfort not only to her but also to our family.
To our relatives, friends, neighbours, colleagues and everyone who visited, telephoned, sent messages of sympathy, prayers and offered generous practical help, we are forever grateful.
Your thoughtfulness and support have been a great source of comfort during this difficult time.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to everyone who attended the wake and funeral to celebrate he long and fulfilling life. Your presence, kind words and shared memories meant so much to us and were a fitting tribute to her. A special thanks to Kevin and Connor O’ Neill for their generosity in making their property available for car parking.
Finally we wish to thank all those who helped make the funeral arrangements and service so meaningful especially Claude McKervey Funeral Director, Ederney for the compassionate, dignified and highly professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and guided us through a difficult time. A sincere word of thanks to Fr Dolan who celebrated the funeral mass and attended to her spiritual needs so diligently. Also Fr Joseph Nnamdi Mokwe who officiated most reverently at the graveside. To our musicians, Fergal and Stephen, whose beautiful music greatly enhanced the funeral mass. Thank you for sharing your enormous talent with our congregation.
