Canning - Magilligan

Chris, Tina and the entire family circle of the late Aidan R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

Thanks to the staff of Slemish Nursing Home and Antrim Area Hospital for the care given to Aidan and the support to the family.

A special thanks to Fr O’Hagan for his spiritual support, guidance, pastoral care and for celebrating the Requiem Mass.

Thanks to Liam & Jeanette for the beautiful music; the church sacristan and volunteers, those who provided refreshments after the funeral, and Sean Mullan who prepared the grave.

The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.

Special thanks to Sean and Bridget Canning and family for making it possible for Aidan’s wake to take place in his homeland of Magilligan and the support and care to Chris and the family.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The month mind Mass for Aidan will be celebrated on Wednesday 1st July 2026 at 7:30pm in St. Aidan’s Church, Magilligan.
