Acknowledgement from the family of the late Aine Maney (neé Campbell)

We, the family of the late Aine Maney who died on the 23rd August 2023 husband Shane, sons Joshua, Shea & Oisin and daughter Ava wish to thank our families, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us, supported and cared for us in our recent bereavement and throughout Aine’s illness.

A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and health care staff of Southern Area Hospice who cared for Aine with love and attention for two and half months. Your kindness and compassion will be remembered forever.

Our Heartfelt thanks to Fr Naughton and Canon Phillip for a beautiful requiem Mass. To Maria Meagher & Terry Rafferty for the music and beautiful singing.

Thanks to all those who left food and refreshments especially Pat & Patricia Courtney from Courtney’s Newry, Hugh Boyle and the staff of The Shelbourne, Newry and Graham Butcher’s Newtownhamilton. Thank you to the Whistledown Hotel, Warrenpoint for their support and warmth shown to us at the funeral reception. It was very much appreciated.

We extend heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Patricia and the staff of Heaney Keenan Funeral Directors for the dignified manner in which they carried out Aine’s funeral arrangements. A special word of thanks to Patricia for all that she did for us at a time where it was so difficult to think straight, for her passionate professionalism and her continued unwavering support.

Finally, thank you to our neighbours here in Ballyholland who wrapped their arms around us in a time of need. A special word of thanks to Ballyholland Community Centre for providing us with the necessities and use of their car park and to Ballyholland Harps GAC and Ballyholland Primary School for their guards of honour.

As we are unable to thank everyone individually so would like to extend our gratitude to all those who visited our home, attended Aine’s funeral mass and to those who could not attend but expressed their sympathies in a phone call, letter, cards and sent messages via Social Media or donated on Facebook to the Southern Area Hospice.

We trust this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
Aine's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 24th September at 10.00AM at Sacred Heart Church Cloughue. Mass can be viewed online https://upperkilleavyparish.onlinemass.org
