The death has occurred of:
Aisling McGivern
It is with heartfelt gratitude that we, the family of Aisling McGivern, wish to acknowledge and thank all those who have supported us during our recent bereavement.
We deeply appreciate the love, kindness and comfort extended to us through prayers, messages, visits, contributions of food, attendance at the Wake and Funeral and the thoughtful Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards and flowers. Your support has been a source of strength as we continue to mourn and celebrate Aisling’s life.
A special word of thanks to Monsignor Hugh Connolly and Fr. Peter Charles McNeill for their guidance, support and for making Mass so personal. Thanks also to Niamh McDowell for the beautiful music and singing which added to the Mass.
We also wish to express our appreciation to the staff in A&E and on Level 3 in Daisy Hill Hospital who cared for Aisling with compassion during her final days.
We wish to acknowledge Cumann Pheadair Naofa (St Peter’s GAA Club), St Louis Grammar School, Kilkeel and St Mark’s High School, Warrenpoint for their invaluable support in so many ways throughout the Wake and Funeral including their Guards of Honour, also Kevin Martin, principal of St. Louis School and Feargal McCormack for their very fitting eulogies.
Finally, a special word of thanks to McAnulty Funeral Directors for their professionalism guidance and the dignified way they handled the Funeral Arrangements.
Although we cannot thank everyone individually, please know that we are deeply moved and truly grateful for all the support and kindness received during this difficult time.
Aisling’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 14th December at 6.00pm in Mary Queen of Peace Church, Warrenpoint.
May the love and memories we carry in our hearts continue to guide us.
With sincere thanks,
The McGivern Family.
