The Family of the late Alan McGinnis, Upperlands wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them on the death of a loving Husband, Father, Father-in-Law and Grandfather.

Thank you to all who attended the wake at the Funeral Home and the Thanksgiving Service. A special thanks to Rev John Martin for his constant pastoral care during Alan’s illness and for conducting the Thanksgiving Service, also for those who upheld Alan in prayer.

Our grateful thanks to Friends and Family who came to our home when called upon, both day and night at short notice when Alan needed extra help, to those who sent sympathy cards, telephoned, sent flowers, provided food and for the generous donations received for Marie Curie in Alan’s memory.

Thanks to the Doctors and Staff at Maghera Health Centre, Glass’ Pharmacy Maghera, District Nurses, The Teams of Carers, the Staff at Maghera Day Centre and the Marie Curie Staff, all made it possible for Alan to remain at home.

Grateful thanks to Olive Kyle and her team for preparing and serving the tea in the Church hall, after the committal, to Paula Smyth, the Organist, Culnady Boys Brigade for the Guard of Honour, The Church Caretaker for having the Church warm on a bitter cold morning and to David McFetridge for preparing the grave.

Finally, a sincere thank you to Helen and her Staff at D. Watters Funeral Services for guidance, compassion and the dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements.

Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.

Mildred, David and Jayne
