Alan SHILLIDAY
Shilliday Alan
Alan’s partner Caroline and sons Jack and Joseph wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement. We are especially thankful to our family, friends and neighbours who helped and supported us during the wake
and funeral. To all those who attended Alan’s wake and funeral, brought sympathy cards, telephoned, messaged, or expressed their condolences online we thank you very much.
A special word of thanks to the management and staff of Dunlarg Care Home for the outstanding care given to Alan during his time there and for the support they provided us in Alan’s last few days. We would also like to thank the Doctors of Willowbank Surgery for attending to Alan with such care during his illness.
A special thanks to Rev Abraham for the lovely funeral service and for visiting Alan during his time in Dunlarg. To the organist for the lovely music, she played during the service.
We would also like to express our thanks to the gravedigger for preparing Alan’s resting place in such a meticulous and tidy manner.
Thank you to Armaghbreague Presbyterian Church for allowing us the use of the hall for refreshments after the service and to Parks Catering for preparing and serving the lovely food. To Madden Social Club for allowing us the use of chairs and kitchen equipment to facilitate the wake, it was much appreciated.
Lastly, a special thanks goes to Andrew and all at K G Cheevers & Son Funeral Directors for the compassionate and professional manner in which they carried out Alan’s funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this
acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation and gratitude.
