The family of the late Rodney McCrea wish to thank relatives, friends and work colleagues for their love and support during Rodney’s cancer journey and death. To the community of people within Seymour Street Methodist Church and Friends’ School Lisburn a special thank you. As a family we have been overwhelmed by such outpouring of kindness and love.

To those who called at our home, sent letters, messages and cards of sympathy, brought food, gifts and offered practical support.

Thank you to the staff at the Belfast Trust, South Eastern Trust, Community Care Teams, Marie Curie, District Nurses, and to the staff at our GP Practice, Dr Ruddell & Partners, Lisburn Primary Care Centre – especially to Dr McKee, for their compassionate and excellent holistic care.

Thank you to those who attended Rodney’s funeral and Celebration of Life Service, who helped with the arrangements and took part. To the Rev David Turtle and Rev Brian Anderson for their wisdom and guidance in the organisation of the service and words of comfort and to the staff at Ronnie Thompson’s Funeral Directors. Thank you to those who sent donations in lieu of flowers to The Brain Tumour Charity and Kintsugi Hope.

To all others who have helped in any way over the last year our grateful thanks.

Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
