TODD, ALEXANDER (HOWARD) - Died March 18, 2020.

Howard passed away at the University of British Columbia Hospital, Vancouver, Canada. Howard was predeceased by his parents, Gretta and Samuel, and his brothers Fred and Campbell. Howard is survived and sadly missed by many family members and close friends in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Born July 29, 1937, Belfast, Northern Ireland. Howard served with the Royal Navy for 15 years before immigrating to Canada and settling in Vancouver in September, 1969. Howard spent the bulk of his career, until retirement in 2002, working with the British Columbia Ferry Corporation.
Howard was a long-time supporter and member of the Meraloma Rugby Club, Evergreens Rugby Club and the Billy Bishop Royal Canadian Legion.

A memorial reception will be held. Location, date and time to be announced.

HIs home visits to Ireland were always a special event and he was proud of his family roots here.
Todd's supplied horses to the army. The family burial is Hillhall Presbyterian Church graveyard
They fought in the war survived and named on Ballinderry Presbyterian Church war memorial plaque. Howard was moved when he viewed this with me.
