Alexander Shaw Hawkins
Died 29th January 2018, 25 days after his much loved wife Eunice. Broken Hearted.
A Service of thanksgiving will be held on Saturday at 9.30am in S Clarke and Son Funeral Church Newtownards followed by funeral in Movilla Cemetery.
Will be sadly missed by his son Stephen, daughter-in-law Karen, Daughter Sandra and partner John, grandchildren Paul and wife Lisa, Alison and husband Trevor, Sarah and husband Matthew, and Rachel and partner Ady. Also their eight great-grandchildren.
They say there is a reason, they say time will heal,
but neither time nor reason will heal the way we feel.
We sat beside your bedside, our hearts were crushed and sore.
We did our duty to the end ‘til we could do no more.
We watched you slowly fade away
and though our hearts were breaking, we knew you could not stay,
SO dad please go in peace and mend your broken heart –
Mum is waiting patiently just twenty-five days apart.
