The death has occurred of:
Alfie O'Neill
Alfie O’Neill R.I.P.
As a family, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us following the passing of our much-loved Daddy, Alfie. The kindness shown to us over the past weeks has brought us great comfort.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass cards, flowers, messages and phone calls, left online condolences. Every message, story and memory shared has meant so much to us and reminded us just how highly thought of he was by so many people.
We would like to sincerely thank Wilson’s of SuperValu, UNCH Portadown, and everyone who kindly brought food and refreshments to our home during the wake. Your generosity and support were greatly appreciated.
A special word of thanks to Fr Clarke for his kindness, guidance and support throughout this difficult time and for celebrating such a meaningful Funeral Mass. Thank you also to Sinéad and Co for the beautiful music and singing.
We are also very grateful to a number of hospital staff who cared for Daddy with compassion. Those in particular are Arlene Duffy; Joshua, Raul & Margaret (nursing assistants) and AJ & Julie (nurses in charge). Their kindness towards Daddy and our family will not be forgotten.
Our sincere thanks to Quinn Bros Funeral Directors for their professionalism, care and support throughout the funeral arrangements. We also wish to thank the grave diggers who prepared Daddy’s final resting place with such respect.
The love, kindness and support shown to our family has been overwhelming. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our gratitude.
Alfie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 1st July at 7.00pm in St John the Baptist Church, Portadown. The Mass may also be viewed via the church webcam for those unable to attend in person.
St. Pio, pray for him.
