Steed, Alfred Edward (Alfie). Passed away peacefully at home on 2nd February 2020 after a short illness, patiently borne.
Dearly loved husband of Sandra, and loving father of Beverly, Pauline and Andrea. Father-in-law of Gary and Tim, devoted grandfather of Ross, Matthew, Katharine & Sophie and great grand-daughter Emma.

Service of celebration will be held in Carnalea Methodist Church, Rathmore Road, Bangor on Friday 7th February at 12.30pm followed by cremation at 3.30pm.

Family Flowers only. Donations if desired to Marie Curie c/o S Clarke & Sons Funeral Directors, 64 Newtownards Road, Bangor, BT20 4DR.

We shared so much together, laughter, joy and tears,
now all we have are the memories of those happy years.

I was saddened to learn of Alfie's passing, Due to personal circumstances I cannot attend the funeral however I wish to express our sincere condolences to your family. I have a photo of my late parents and sister Audrey taken by Alfie 60 years ago in Millisle which often reminds me of a good friend and Sirocco colleague over many years. We pray that your family may be comforted at this very difficult time.
