The family of the late Alice Greene (Nee McSherry), Lurgan wish to express our sincere thanks to all who offered support and sympathy to us during our recent sad loss. To our extended family, friends and neighbours who called, sent mass cards, messages of sympathy and attended the funeral. We would like to express our gratitude to those who helped at the wake, brought food and gave support.

We would also like to thank Canon Liam Stevenson for his spiritual support. A special thanks to Father Brian Fitzpatrick who offered tremendous guidance throughout the wake and for the wonderful celebration of Alice’s funeral Mass. An extended thanks to all who participated in the funeral mass.

The family deeply appreciates the dedication, compassion and expertise of the medical and support staff of the Urology Departments in both Craigavon Area Hospital and The Royal Victoria Hospital who cared for Alice. We also offer our sincere thanks to the wonderful team of care staff from the Southern Health and Social Care Trust who provided gentle, good-humoured support and care for her at home. We will be forever grateful to the staff of the Old School House Surgery Antrim Road Lurgan with a special mention to Dr Doyle. We would also like to thank the Acute home care team, District Nurses, Marie Curie Nurses and the Integrated Care Team for the manner in which they looked after mum.

Thank you also to the Funeral Directors McAlinden and Murtagh for the professional and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Alice’s Month’s Mind Mass will be on Friday, October 27th at 7 p.m. in St Patrick’s Church, Aghacommon.
