McClure Alistair June 16th 2026 Peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Centre, Derry/Londonderry in his 82nd year, formerly of Gailey’s the booksellers, newsagent and stationers in Waterloo Place. Much regretted by his sister Deirdre and husband Francis, his cousins Alan and Moira, Judy and Desi, John and Phyllis, Liz and Gil, his niece Ann and husband Nicolas, his great-nieces Camille, Julie and Elise and his many friends.

He was a great dog lover, collector of model cars and cargo ship spotter, and above all a gentleman.

Service of Thanksgiving for his life in D & R Hay and Sons Funeral Home, 24A Church Road, Altnagelvin, Londonderry, BT47 3QQ on Monday 22nd June at 11.00 a.m. followed by (private) burial in the City Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Guide Dogs c/o Mrs Ruth Hay, Funeral Director (at the above Funeral Home address).

Everyone is welcome to call at the Funeral Home on Friday 19th June from 11.00 a.m. until 2.00 p.m. and evening from 6.00 p.m. until 8.00 p.m..
