Acknowledgement – Angela Duncan, formerly of Drumlish Road, Dromore, Died 10th October 2023

Angela’s husband Sean, children Patricia, Damian, Donna and Cathy and the extended family would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Angela was a widely respected lady and a dearly loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, or flowers, and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake house, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan PE for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our musician Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful music.
We also thank Fr Kevin Duffy PP (Irvinestown) who presided over the interment of Angela’s ashes.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Angela’s final resting place. Our thanks also to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral and to Sheenagh of Bumble Bee Garden for the lovely floral tributes. Thank you also to Lakeland Crematorium Cavan.

And finally, we send our grateful thanks to all the health professionals with whom Angela came into contact, especially those who cared for Angela in Altnagelvin Hospital.
We are incredibly grateful for all your assistance with Angela’s care.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude; your support was valued and appreciated. Thank You.

Angela is forever loved and sadly missed; may her gentle, generous soul be granted eternal rest. Angela’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 11th November at 7pm. Our Lady pray for her.
