1st February 2022, beloved wife of the late Trevor, loving mother of Sarah-Elizabeth and dear sister of Ted and the late Dympna, Joe and Brendan.

House private please.

Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Friday evening from 6-9 pm.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Eugene’s Cathedral on Saturday at 11 am. A private cremation will take place at a later date.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to the NI Chest, Heart & Stroke Association, 21 Dublin Road, Belfast, BT2 7HB.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

We welcomed her to Longford as an inspirational creative writing Teacher with the Pushkin Trust programme. She opened our minds to laughter and the joy of living with her wise and witty words and wonderful zest for life

Dear, dear Anita. I worked with her at Radio Foyle and she was always so incredibly kind to the callow youngster that I was. I will never forget that. Such a fabulous, intelligent and funny person but most of all, a real lady. I`m sure like many other people I find it so very hard to think that I`ll never laugh with her and enjoy her company again.
