AGNEW – Anna

The family of the late Anna Agnew who passed away on 1st July 2026 wish to express our heartfelt thanks everyone who supported us during the loss of a much-loved Mum. We are deeply grateful to everyone who called at our home, sent mass and sympathy cards, attended the funeral and helped in anyway. A special word of thanks to the O’Kane family for the endless supply of food and beverages during the wake and for the beautiful flowers. We are overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and support from family, friends and neighbours, which has been a great comfort to us.

We would especially like to thank Armagh Harps GFC for their constant presence during the wake and for the guard of honour on the day of the funeral, it was very special and a lovely tribute to Mum who was a true Harps woman.

Thanks to Fr Barry Matthews for conducting the funeral mass and to Cathy Kelly for the beautiful singing and music.

Special thanks also to Mc Ardle funeral directors for the caring and dignified manner in the way they carried out the funeral arrangements. Hugo was with us every step of the way.

We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere and heartfelt appreciation. Anna’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Friday 31st July in St Malachy’s chapel at 7.30pm.
