We, the family of the late Mrs Anne Dixon, would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us through the bereavement of our precious Mammy and Nana.

Our Mother

You can only have one Mother,
patient, kindness and true.
No other friend in all the world
will be the same to you.

When other friends forsake you,
to Mother you will return
for all her loving kindness,
she asks nothing in return.

As we look upon her pictures,
sweet memories we recall
of a face so full of sunshine
and a smile for one and all.

Sweet Jesus take this message
to our Mother up above,
tell her how we miss her
and give her all our love.

A sincere thank you to those who attended the Dixon Family family home, telephoned, sent cards, messaged and attended the funeral and gave donations to the Foyle Hospice.

To our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped during the wake, brought food and made tea; we will be forever grateful.

Sincere thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses, auxiliary nurses, chef, cleaners, tea ladies and receptionists for the professional tender care and support they provided for our dear Mammy and for us as a family at the wonderful Foyle Hospice.

Special thanks to Kieran and Noeleen at W.J. O'Brien undertakers for making such a difficult time that much easier for us as a family with your professionalism, kindness, consideration and compassion.

We would also like to thank Fr McCrory for Mammy's funeral Mass and all who travelled from near and far to attend.

We will not forget the support we received as a family from you all.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.

Mammy's month's mind Mass will be celebrated on 11th July 2026 @ 6pm in St Mary's Church, Ardmore. All welcome.
