Anne MELLON
Acknowledgement / Month's Mind Mass
Anne Mellon
The Mellon family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathized with us after the loss of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Anne.
We are eternally grateful for the kindness and support offered by our extended family, friends and neighbors, as well as those who travelled to be with us, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, provided food and refreshments and to those who donated money to our two allotted charities in Anne’s memory.
Our sincere thanks to the District Nurses from Aberfoyle Surgery, as well as the staff from the Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie, for the care and compassion they afforded our beloved Anne during her final weeks.
To Mr Rodgers, the specialist team and all the nurses and doctors in Wards 41 and 42 Altnagelvin, we are eternally grateful for the high level of care given and allowing us a precious extra few weeks with Anne. A special mention to the carers who were so attentive to Anne over the past year.
We extend our appreciation to the staff of Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Directors for the professionalism and empathy shown during the preparations for and leading up to the funeral service itself. We are deeply grateful to Father Mongan and Father Ward for the dignified and touching requiem Mass, as well as to Ciaran and Ciara for the beautiful music.
A Mass will be offered for the intentions of all those mentioned above.
Mary Queen of the Gael, pray for them.
Anne’s months mind Mass will be held in the Long Tower Chapel on Thursday 8 May at 7.30pm.
