We the sons of the late Annie McBride R.I.P. would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us following the death of a much loved Mother, Mother in law, Granny, Great granny, Sister, Sister in law, Aunt and friend.

We have been overwhelmed with the love, kindness and support shown from family, friends and the local community.

Thank you to everyone who sent mass and sympathy cards, emails, floral tributes, brought food, telephoned, sent messages on social media or called at the home to pay their respects to Annie. We truly appreciate the strength gained from your presence. A special thanks to Straw Service Station and Diamond Meats for their generosity during this time, and to those who helped with parking during the wake.

To those who lined along the route to the chapel and to everyone who attended the funeral or joined us via the webcam for Requiem Mass we are thankful.

Our sincerest thanks to Fr Madden for his continuous spiritual support and for the celebration of Requiem Mass, which was delivered so compassionately. Thank you to Fr O’Neill and Fr Downey for also participating in the Funeral Mass.

To Patricia Herron and Jolene McBride for the beautiful hymns and music, sincerest thanks.

Thank you to Paddy Kelly and Kieran Kirk for the compassionate, professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and to those who prepared the grave. Thanks also to the church volunteers as well as Carn Media for streaming the mass and Blackhill Marquees for their services.

We would like to extend our thanks to all involved in our mother’s care, showing her compassion and dignity with a special thanks to Dr White and the doctors, district nursing team, nursing and reception staff at Draperstown Surgery. A special thanks also to O’Kanes Pharmacy for their assistance and support shown over the years.
