Ann McKEEVER
The family of the late Ann McKeever, Vale Road, Greysteel, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Sadly, due to the COVID restrictions, we were unable to welcome you to our home at the time of Ann’s death or to her Funeral Mass, but we deeply appreciate the many ways that you reached out and supported us. To those who paid their respects at W J O’Brien and Son’s Funeral Home, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, phone calls, messages, flowers and food, these were a great comfort to us at a difficult time.
We were especially touched by the kindness of our own family circle, our neighbours and friends, the Faughanvale GAA Club and all within the Faughanvale Parish. To those who called to the front door, lined the funeral route, or stood outside the Chapel, we thank you. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to those who donated so generously to the Foyle Hospice in lieu of flowers.
We extend a special thanks to Fr. McDermott PP for his great support and kind words. We would like to thank Leanne, Chris and Daniel for the beautiful music during the Funeral Mass and Andrew for piping Ann on her final journey from the Vale Road. We thank Willie, Kieran, Noeleen and all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors for the professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral.
Mass will be offered in thanks giving to all those supported and cared for Ann and for all who have helped us in any way in our time of loss and grief. Ann’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 26th March at 7.30pm in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale and will be streamed live on the parish webcam:- www.staroftheseacatholic.com or
