The family of the late Anthony Francis McEvoy wish to convey their deepest gratitude to all who extended support and kindness in the days surrounding Tony’s passing.

Our sincere thanks to so many for the wonderful comfort we received from the stories shared of the enduring bonds with his long-time friends and family. We would like to thank all those who cared for Daddy, especially Bayani. We would also like to thank Rebekah Rushe whose help we could not have done without.

We wish to express our sincere appreciation to Digney Funeral Directors, whose warmth, dignity, and professionalism provided invaluable guidance and solace throughout. Our heartfelt thanks also go to Canon Kearney whose compassionate presence and thoughtful connection brought comfort and peace to our family, and who celebrated a beautiful Requiem Mass for Tony’s life and to Kerry whose music was beautifully heartfelt and personal.

Go raibh míle maith agat.

Month’s Mind Mass for Tony will be held at 12 noon on Sunday 6th July 2025 in Sts. Patrick & Colman's Cathedral, Newry.

With warm and grateful appreciation,
The McEvoy Family
