Died 5th March 2022, peacefully at home

Beloved husband of Mary and loving father of Ruairi and Bronagh, also the much loved uncle of Reuben, Aidan and Danny.

Funeral Mass will be held in The Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau Road on Wednesday 9th March at 7.00pm.

Anto’s remains will leave his late home on Friday 11th March at 10.00am to arrive at Roselawn Crematorium for committal at 10.40am.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, children, nephews, and entire family circle.

Hasta la victoria siempre.

It is with great sadness, shock and disbelief that we have learned of the passing of our dear friend, Anto.
Our sincere and heartfelt condolenses to Mary, Ruari and Bronagh and the extended Haughey and Feeny families.
Anto was a great friend and Godsend to me at a time when I was really low having lost our little 5 year son in a road traffic accident.
We had many long deep conversations about sorting out all the problems and wrongs of the world.
Anto, to me, was a man for and a man of the people for the oppressed and underdogs of this world and was well read and well informed on all the current difficulties affecting our planet i.e, politics, economics, climate change, injustices, and racism etc.
Thanks Anto for being a friend, kindred spirit and comrade.
Enjoy your new life in the beyond and don’t worry just keep on rockin’.
I’ll miss you so slan go foill mo chara agus go mbeannai Dia thu mo dhearair agus mo chara.
