Aubrey’s wife Elizabeth and sons Stephen, John, Andrew, and James wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

Thanks are extended to those who sent cards, letters of sympathy, telephoned, visited the home, or attended the funeral service; many travelling long distances in extreme weather conditions. Thanks to the many friends and family who looked after our practical needs during that time and since- we are very grateful. We also appreciate the generous donations given in memory of Aubrey to St. Columb’s Cathedral.

Our thanks also go to The Very Rev Raymond Stewart, Rev Canon John Merrick for officiating at the funeral, the Right Rev. Andrew Forster for leading ‘The Farewell in Christ’ and all the clergy supporting the family.

The family is also grateful to the Session of Burt Presbyterian Church both for the use of the hall and enabling burial arrangements. To the medical and nursing staff of Ward 44 Coronary Care, Altnagelvin Area Hospital for the skill, care and attention Aubrey received.

The family appreciates the manner in which the funeral directors, W. J. O Brien & Son carried out the funeral arrangements.

Trusting this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
