Austin McCann
A letter of ‘Acknowledgment and Appreciation’ from the family of the late Austin McCann, Gortgonis (Hackingblock) Road, Coalisland.
Sons Theo and Josh, daughter in law Catherine, and family of the late Austin McCann R.I.P. wish to express our gratitude to everyone who supported us on the sudden and sad bereavement.
Sincere thanks to our extended family, friends, wonderful neighbours, and all those who sent Mass/ Sympathy cards, flowers, posted on-line tributes, telephoned, brought food, called and helped during the wake, assisted with the car park, helped with carrying Austin’s coffin, attended and assisted with the funeral/ participated via the webcam or indeed, helped in anyway.
Thanks to sister Caroline, for preparing and providing the beautiful Funeral flowers.
Thanks to all who provided food during the wake which was appreciated.
Thanks to Gary Harte for preparing Austin's final resting place.
Thanks also to Gillprint, for providing Austin’s Requiem Mass booklets.
A special word of thanks to The First Responders, Paramedics, Police Officers and Coroners who attended to Austin with much dignity and respect. Thank you to Coalisland District Nursing Team. Thank you to Parkview Surgery, especially Dr Aine McGeary for all your help.
Sincere thanks to Fr John McCallion, Fr Eugene O'Neill and Fr Canon Benny for their strength and support throughout Austin’s wake and for his beautiful Requiem mass.
A heartfelt and authentic thanks to Briege Canavan and Nuala McCormick, for their lovely singing and music.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude and profound appreciation to Patsy and Edel at Taggart Funeral Services, for their high standard of professionalism and for the caring, compassionate and dignified manner in which they organised Austin’s wake and funeral.
Also; we want to thank The Gables, Carland, for providing the lovely after Funeral meal.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all, as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.
Austin’s ‘Month’s Mind Mass’ will be celebrated on Friday, 15th August, at 7:30pm, in St.Mary's and St.Joesph's Church, Brackaville.
