We, the Family of the late Barney McElvogue wish to express our deepest appreciation and sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement.
Barney was a devoted and much-loved Husband, Father, Father-in-law, Grandad and Brother. Words cannot express our heartfelt thanks to our extended Family, Friends, Neighbours and Community who sympathised and helped us during this difficult time.
Sincere gratitude to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, flowers, posted condolence messages on social media, telephoned, called at the family home and those who joined us online for the funeral Mass.
We are truly grateful to all who provided food and refreshments, for those who left gifts and to all who helped in any way during the wake.
Our sincere gratitude to Father Hannigan for such a beautiful and fitting Requiem Mass, for providing spiritual guidance, support and for attending Barney in hospital. Thanks to Siobhan Robinson for the beautiful singing and music and for all who participated in the Mass.
Our huge gratitude to Paudge Quinn, Funeral Director for the extremely caring, professional and dignified manner in carrying out Barney's funeral and for the beautiful meal afterwards. Thank you to the Grave Diggers for preparing Barney's Final Resting Place.
Thanks to KC Marquees, Killeeshil Community Centre and to our kind Neighbours and Friends who organised the parking arrangements during the wake.
We will be forever grateful to the Staff of Lurgan Hospital for the care and dedication they showed Barney during his time there.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as an expression of our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported us.
Barney's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 8th March at 7.30pm in The Church of Assumption, Tullyallen.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by Bridie and Family.
