The family of the late Bernie RIP (Warrenpoint) who passed away peacefully on the 21st of June would like to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to family, friends, neighbours, those who sent Mass & Sympathy Cards, telephoned, posted on social media, attended the Wake, Funeral and provided emotional and practical support for us at this sad time. To the local businesses; The Whistledown Hotel, McVeighs Eurospar, & The Fairways Restaurant at Warrenpoint Golf Club who were so generous over Bernie’s Wake.
Thank you to the staff of Life & Time, Warrenpoint District Nursing Team, & Walsh’s Chemist for being so caring in Bernies last days.
A special word of thanks to all those who participated in Bernie’s Requiem Mass especially Mgsr. Connolly, Mgsr. Bickers, and Clara Wilson (Singer/Harpist) Thanks to the Committee of Warrenpoint Golf Club and St.Patrick’s Primary School Mayobridge who provided Guards of Honour. Our many thanks to McAnulty Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our families deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation.
Months Mind Mass for Bernie RIP will be celebrated on Saturday 18th July in Mary Queen of Peace Warrenpoint at 6pm.
