We the family and partner of the late Bernadette Devine wish to convey our heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported us in our recent sad bereavement. Your kindness, condolences and expressions of sympathy and practical support have provided us with immense comfort, and we are so appreciative of the love, respect and affection shown to our mammy and us as a family. We are grateful to all those who called at the house, those who travelled to be with us, brought gifts, helped at the home and assisted in any other way. A special and sincere word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Altnagelvin Hospital, Riverside Health Centre, Macmillan Palliative Care Team, Foyle Hospice, and to the Bryson Care team who tended our mammy in her final days. To Fr Sean O'Donnell for the lovely Requiem Mass, and to Noel McGinley and Ruth Corey and Bernadette's grandson Oisín for the lovely music during the service. Thanks to Quigley's Funeral Directors who carried out their duties in such a caring, understanding, dignified and professional manner. A special word of thanks to Brian, Sinéad, Mary, Anne-Marie, Hayley, Tyrone, Corin and all at St Pat's Hall for providing refreshments following the interment. As it is not possible to individually thank everyone who helped and supported us, we trust that this public word of thanks and acknowledgement sufficiently reflects our deep appreciation.
Our mother's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary's Church, Melmount, on Saturday 20th June at 7pm. Refreshments to follow in Lisnafin Community Centre, to whom we are also very grateful.
