The death has occurred of:
Bernard (Barney) Murchan
Murchan (Newry) 11th February 2024, peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital, Bernard (Barney) dearly beloved husband of the late Bridie, cherished father of Marie Byrne, Patricia Reid, John and the late Geraldine Pentony and much-loved brother of Maura and the late Mick, Sally, Agnes and Maggie.
May he rest in peace.
Barney’s remains will repose at his late residence, 7, Windmill Place, Newry on Sunday from 6pm -9pm and on Monday from 2pm – 5pm and from 7pm – 9pm.
Funeral on Tuesday at 10.30am Requiem Mass in the Cathedral of Ss. Patrick and Coleman followed by interment in St Mary’s Cemetery, Newry.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on his soul.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, son, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, sister-in-law Anna Waters and entire family circle.
