The family of the late Bernadette Dillon of Rathmore Crescent, Creggan wish to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement; those who sent Mass or Sympathy Cards, messages of condolences, or made donations in lieu of flowers. Sincere thanks to the many kind neighbours, relatives and friends for their support and who helped in so many ways.
A special thanks to the staff, nurses and carers in Oakleaves Care Home for their professional and compassionate care.
Sincere thanks too to Fr Daniel McFaul and Fr John Forbes for officiating at Bernie's Requiem Mass and Fidelma McNamee for her beautiful singing.
Thanks to W. J. O'Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the professional, sensitive, dignified and caring manner in which they carried out Bernie's funeral.
It is not possible to thank everyone individually, but it is hoped that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of the family’s true gratitude and thanks.
Bernie’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 7th October 2023 at 6.30 pm Mass in St Mary’s Church, Creggan. Everyone welcome.
Bernie brought joy, happiness and laughter to everyone who knew her, she will be sorely missed.
