The family of the late Brendan Mc Kenna who passed away on the 7th of May 2026 would like to thank all those who supported them during Brendan’s illness and who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement.

Our heartfelt thanks to Relatives, Friends and Neighbours for their generosity, support and kindness. We would especially like to thank Alan Jameson for his lifelong friendship with Brendan. All your gestures, reminisce and presence and brought us great comfort during this difficult time.

Thank you to Pat Traynor and Sally’s for food provided to the home and everyone who brought food, gifts, mass cards and assisted with the hospitality, especially Tara, Lauren and Geraldine. We thank Corick House for the beautiful meal after the Funeral. We are deeply grateful to all who travelled from near and far to attend the Wake, Funeral and to those who called by telephone or who expressed sympathy by social media.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr Pat Hannigan for his tremendous support, guidance and caring nature during Brendan’s illness and for his beautiful Requiem Funeral Mass. We thank all those who participated in the Mass, the Sacristan, the Eucharistic Ministers and especially Caoimhe Loughran and Plunkett Mc Gartland for the magnificent singing and music.

We would like to offer special thanks to PJ Quinn and Patrick, for their professionalism and dignified manner in carrying out all arrangements for the Funeral. A special thank you to the grave diggers and family friends who did a beautiful job in preparing Brendan’s final resting place, and to Catherine at Killeeshil Community Centre.

We would like to offer special thanks to Dr Potter and Dr Armstrong and staff at Errigal Medical Practice. To Keith atMc Keever’s in Aughnacloy, the Doctor’s, Nurses at the Cancer Centre in Belfast and Craigavon, Palliative Care Teams and District Nurses for their care to Brendan throughout his illness and to those who provided comfort to Brendan in his final days.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually,please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Brendan’s months mind Mass will be held in the Church of the Assumption Tullyallen, Sunday the 14th of June at 11am.
