The family of the late Brendan McNabb R.I.P wish to express our appreciation and sincere thanks for the support shown following the loss of our devoted and dearly missed Daddy, Granda, brother and a good friend to all. Words cannot express our heartfelt thanks to extended family, friends and all those who sympathised and helped during this difficult time. Sincere thanks to all who attended the wake or funeral, posted tributes on social media, sent private messages and sympathy cards.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Declan McGeehan for his comforting eulogy and for celebrating his requiem mass. We also thank Fr. Kevin McElhennon for his compassion and support shown to Daddy and our family.

Thank you to the readers and all who contributed to the funeral mass. Many thanks to Paul Pritchard and Bronagh Hackett for the beautiful music provided.

A special word of thanks to Holy Family Primary School who formed a guard of honour.

Thank you also to all those who brought food or served tea. We are deeply grateful to close friends and family who helped with all arrangements at the house for the wake.

A special word of thanks to the doctors and staff of Palliative Care in Omagh who assisted Daddy in the latter stages of his illness. We will always remember the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion they showed him and our family.

Many thanks to Maguire's Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave diggers who prepared Daddy’s final resting place. Thanks to everyone who attended the funeral, watched via web cam and to all who assisted in carrying his coffin.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.

Brendan's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 2nd March 10am in St Mary's Church, Killyclogher.

“To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die.”
