The family of Brendan Mc Sorley, James Street, Omagh, who passed away on the 7 July 2024, wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who sympathised, prayed for and supported them through their recent bereavement. Our thanks to the many friends, neighbours and extended family circle for their kindness in calling at our home, and to those who attended the wake and/or funeral. Heartfelt thank you goes to all of those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages and telephoned, and to all who brought food, wreaths and flowers. The family also greatly appreciate the support and assistance provided by Omagh St Endas.
Our sincere thanks to Fr McCaul and Fr Peter Mc Cawille SWA for their assistance, spiritual support and for the celebration of the Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Gerada McCann for the beautiful music and singing at the funeral. The family are particularly grateful for the wonderful care provided to Brendan during his illness by the staff of the Palliative Care Unit Omagh and the South West Acute Hospital. Grateful appreciation is extended to Mr J Maguire (Funeral Director) for the compassionate, professional and dignified manner in which he carried out the arrangements and funeral.
Brendan’s Month’s mine will be held at 7.30pm on Friday 16 August, Sacred Heart Omagh.
