January 24, 2016, (suddenly), at his home, Ballymacoss House, Lisburn, dearly-loved son of Sid and the late Iris McDowell (nee Hillock).

A short Committal Service will be held in Roselawn Crematorium on Thursday at 9.30 a.m. for family and close friends, but anyone who wants to attend will be made welcome. Followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Brian in Lisburn Civic Centre, Island Hall at 11.30 a.m.

House private. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to The Association for Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus (Belfast), c/o Bobby Morrison Funeral Directors, 38 Hillsborough Road, Lisburn, BT28 1AQ.

Brian will be sorely missed by Sid and Doreen, brothers Niall and Michael and families, his aunties Eileen and Cathy and families, his wee sister Lynne and family and the extended family circle at home and abroad in Singapore and Australia, McDowell, Hillock, Philips, Lyness, Crothers, Motherway and Roberts.
