3rd June 2022, suddenly in his 78th year at his home, Lisburn. Beloved brother of Terence and Peter, dear uncle of Terri Dawn. Director of Humanist Society in Northern Ireland and former Teacher of Economics and History at Friend’s School Lisburn.

Funeral service in Ronnie Thompson’s Funeral Church, 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn, BT28 1UF on Tuesday 14th June at 3.30pm followed by committal at Roselawn Crematorium at 4.40pm.

No flowers please. Donations if desired, made payable to Humanist Society c/o Ronnie Thompson Funeral Directors at above address.

Will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brothers, niece and all who knew him.

From postgraduate days through bachelor pad sharing and as colleagues and friends we knew Brian as someone who was passionate in his beliefs, an empathetic human being and a great friend. We will miss the great nights of craic and lengthy phone call over 50plus years of his company often shared with his doggy companions Kim, Mollie and Harsha. My deepest condolences to all the family. I had the privilege of being taught by Mr McClinton at Friends' School.
