“Ninety-nine wonderful years — just a few steps from one hundred — yet almost a century filled with unwavering faith, boundless love, kindness and treasured memories. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, Godmother, neighbour and friend, Bridie’s gentle spirit touched countless lives. Though deeply missed, her legacy of love, faith and compassion will remain in our hearts forever.”

The daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and entire family circle of the late Bridget (Bridie) Morgan wish to express our heartfelt and sincere appreciation to everyone who supported us throughout Bridie’s illness, passing and bereavement.

We have been overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and compassion shown to our family. We extend our deepest gratitude to all our relatives, friends, neighbours and everyone who called to our home, attended the wake and Requiem Mass, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, messages of condolence, brought food, offered practical help or remembered Bridie in their prayers.

A special word of thanks to all those who travelled from near and far to pay their respects. Your presence and support brought immense comfort to our family during such a difficult time.

Our sincere thanks to Fr. McNally and Fr. Boyle for their spiritual guidance, pastoral care and unwavering support throughout Bridie’s illness and following her passing. We are especially grateful to Fr. McNally for celebrating such a beautiful and prayerful Requiem Mass and to Fr. Boyle for his comforting visits, prayers and spiritual guidance.

We also wish to thank the sacristans, readers, Eucharistic Ministers, altar servers and everyone who participated in making the liturgy such a fitting celebration of Bridie’s long and faith-filled life.

The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Potter, Dr. Bateson, the District Nursing Team, nursing staff, administrative staff of Loy Surgery and all healthcare professionals who cared for Bridie with such kindness, compassion and dignity throughout her illness.

Our sincere appreciation is extended to Malachy Falls Pharmacy, and to the wonderful carers from Jazz Care NI, particularly Rita Lomas, Inayat, Mohammed, Abdul and all the staff, whose kindness, friendship and exceptional care ensured Bridie was always treated with dignity, respect and compassion.

We are deeply grateful to the Recovery Team at Mid Ulster Hospital, both past and present, and to Ms Sinead Bradley and all the staff at Mid Ulster Rehab, for the outstanding support, encouragement and kindness they have shown to Maureen throughout her years of employment and during such a difficult time following the passing of her mother, Bridie. The compassion, understanding and continued support provided during the wake and bereavement period were greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

A special word of thanks to Margaret Ann Conlon and Plunkett McGartland for the beautiful music and singing during the Requiem Mass. We also wish to thank the McCann children from The Loup for their outstanding musical accompaniment in the chapel and at the graveside. Their beautiful contribution added greatly to the dignity and reverence of Bridie’s final farewell.

The family wish to express our sincere gratitude to Kevin Quinn, Funeral Director of K.M Funeral Directors, for the exceptional professionalism, compassion, dignity and care shown throughout every aspect of the funeral arrangements. His attention to detail and gentle guidance brought enormous comfort to our family at such a difficult time.

We also wish to thank those who prepared Bridie’s final resting place, for the care, dignity and respect shown.

Our sincere thanks are extended to the management and staff of Killymoon Golf Club for the excellent food, refreshments and warm hospitality provided following the funeral.

Our heartfelt appreciation is also extended to Grace Devlin and JPP Printing for their patience, kindness and professionalism in preparing the Order of Service and Bridie’s memorial cards.

We would also like to acknowledge and sincerely thank all those who supported our family in so many ways throughout Bridie’s illness and following her passing. We are especially grateful to our wonderful neighbours, relatives and friends for their kindness, generosity and practical support during this difficult time. There were many acts of compassion and assistance given, both seen and unseen, which brought great comfort and strength to our family.

To those who offered their time, prayers, kindness, practical help and support, please know that every gesture was deeply valued and will never be forgotten.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation. The love, kindness and prayers shown to our family have been a tremendous source of strength and comfort.

Bridie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 1st August 2026 at 6.00pm in Holy Trinity Church, Cookstown.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

May Bridie’s gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
