CARROLL, 2nd May, 2020, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, Bridget, (formerly of Bishop Street and late of Alexander House). Good friend to Kathleen Doherty and family.

Sadly, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the wake and funeral are strictly private for immediate friends only. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if wished to Alexander House comfort fund.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

To all of Bridget’s friends our deepest sympathies we feel your loss. To everyone who cared for Bridget at Alexander House a massive Thank You. There are no words to describe the sadness felt from the loss of my wonderful, warm, caring and funny Godmother. Bridget was reared with my mother Kathleen Smith nee (McGinley) in the Nazareth House. She lived with us as children and we knew her as Aunty Bridget. We have so many wonderful & cherished memories. Bridget will always remain in our hearts. Mum is absolutely devastated to loose her best friend her sister and for her not to be able to say goodbye in person is unbelievably difficult.
