Bridget DEERY
The sons, daughters and entire family circle of the late Bridget Deery (nee Gormley) wish to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
A special word of thanks to all those who called at the family home, telephoned, provided food, helped prior to and during the wake, attended the funeral, joined the Mass online, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes or made donations in lieu of flowers to friends of Altnagelvin, Ward 40. Thanks also to those who provided the lighting and minibus for use at the wake.
Grateful thanks to Fr Noel McDermott for providing spiritual support and guidance, for attending mum and celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass and officiating at the graveside.
We also wish to extend our thanks to W J O’Brien & Son, funeral directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, to Fidelma McCormick and Eamon Karran for the beautiful music, to the sacristan, readers, Eucharistic Ministers and those who prepared the grave.
We acknowledge the help received from St Mary’s GAC and for the use of their hall after the funeral. Appreciation to Shauna and her staff from Tamnaherin Filling Station for their catering during the wake and after the funeral.
A special thanks to those who contributed to mum’s medical care especially the staff of Eglinton Medical Practice, her carers from North West Care and the doctors, nurses and all the staff of ward 40, Altnagelvin Hospital for their professionalism, dedication and for everything they did for mum and us as a family.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Mum’s month mind mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin on Sunday, 19 February at 10.00 am.
