In loving memory of Bridie, a much loved and wonderful wife, devoted mother, treasured and cherished granny who died on 25th March 2023. Rest in Peace.

I miss your words of wisdom, I miss your laughter too ,
Nothing will ever compare again to my years of loving you.
I’ll hold onto you forever deep within my heart,
And even though you are not here my love, I know we will never part.

I wish I had one more chance to see your tender smile,
And for us to laugh again, just for a little while.
No man could wish for better to share in life and love,
I count myself lucky to have called you, my wife.
You were the woman I loved, and I was proud to be your husband.

Loved today, always and forever by your loving husband John.

Mammy, God put his arms around you and lifted you to rest,
God’s garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb,
So, he closed your weary eyelids and whispered peace be thine.

It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you on the day god called you home.
If tears could build a stairway and heartaches make a lane,
We would walk our way to heaven and bring you back again.

Loved and missed so much, your three girls Aisling, Katie and Leah.

Theres nothing so special on this earth as a mother’s undying love,
Its as precious as an ocean pearl and pure as a snow-white dove.
And though you are not here with us, no longer our earthly guide,
We can feel your warmth and love inside.
you were truly the most wonderful mum
A treasure that can never be replaced.

Loved and missed by your loving sons Sean and Ciaran.

Of all the greatest blessings however great or small,
To have had you as our granny was the greatest blessing of all.
To us you were a very very special granny.

From your adoring grandchildren Lauren, shea, Katie, Leah, Tieghan, Oisin and Great Grandchild Kaiden.

Bridie’s first anniversary mass will be celebrated in St Eugene’s Cathedral on Tuesday 26th March at 7.30pm.

Have you considered?
