Died 30th June 2022.

Bridie passed away peacefully on the 30th of June 2022. A widely respected, devoted family lady and much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
We, her family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We have been truly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of mass and sympathy cards and private messages that we have received.
We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank-you to those who called to the family home, telephoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu of flowers and to those who left messages online or via social media.
Thanks to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to all of Bridie’s carers who showed nothing but kindness, compassion and consideration in looking after her every day and up until her passing, we are truly grateful. Thank-you also to the District Nurses Johann, Denise and the entire team, Dromore Surgery and McDermott’s pharmacy along with the Marie Curie nurses who attended to Bridie in the weeks leading up to her passing, we are truly indebted for the care and attention that she received at home.
A special word of thanks to Father Patrick MacEntee PP and Father Dolan for their spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our family musicians Fergal, Mark & Conor who provided the uplifting and reverent music. Thank-you to the Dromore Ladies Committee for the catering service provided after the funeral.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for all their support and guidance and for the dignified and professional way the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger for preparing Bridie’s final resting place.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Bridie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 6th August at 7pm.
Our Lady pray for her.
