The family of the late Brinnie McCloskey wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss of a much loved husband, daddy, granda, brother and uncle.

To our family circle, friends and neighbours who called during the wake, attended the funeral and to those who telephoned, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, sent messages of support on social media and to those who sent floral tributes, your words and support brought us great comfort during this difficult time.

To all who brought food to the house or helped in other ways we thank you for supporting us in our time of need.

To Brocagh GFC we extend our heartfelt appreciation for the help with managing traffic at the wake and for all who turned out in such great numbers forming a guard of honour from Brinnie’s home to his final resting place.

An extended heartfelt appreciation to Fr McCallion for his comforting visits to Brinnie during his illness, his guidance and support following Brinnie’s death and for the beautiful and fitting Requiem Mass.

Special thank you also to Fr Tremer for concelebrating Brinnie’s requiem mass and to Canon Fee for attending the funeral service.

To Siobhan Robinson thank you for providing such beautiful music and singing at Brinnie’s Funeral service.

A special word of thanks to Kelly Anne Corr for providing the refreshments after the funeral.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to the Domiciliary Care team for their incredible care and compassion they showed to Brinnie during his illness in his final years. We are deeply grateful to The Emergency Services, staff at Craigavon Hospital, District Nurses and Stewartstown Health Centre for their care and compassion.

A sincere thank you to Plunkett Teague and Sons, Funeral Directors for their professionalism and compassionate handling of Brinnies’s funeral arrangements; your support and guidance was invaluable to us and to the grave digger at Brocagh graveyard for preparing Brinnie’s final resting place with such care.

It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, as the outpouring of support and kindness we have received by those near and far, has been truly overwhelming. Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Mass arrangements:
Brinnie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 27th May, at 7.30pm in St Brigid’s Church Brocagh, and will also be available to view via the church webcam.
