We, the family of the late Cathy Duffy (née Gartland), would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement of our much-loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, nanny, sister, aunty, and a great friend to many.
To all our wonderful family, kind friends, neighbours, and colleagues whose support and comfort were invaluable over the wake and funeral. Thank you for the many stories and memories you shared. We greatly appreciate all those who visited our home, sent Mass or sympathy cards, assisted at the wake, or attended the funeral, and for all the kind gifts of flowers and food, all of which were greatly appreciated.
A special word of thanks to the staff and children of the Christian Brothers Primary School, whose kindness will never be forgotten.
A word of thanks to Pearse ógs for all there help during the wake and funeral. We extend our sincere thanks to Fr Barry for all his support during our difficult time, and to Fr Barry, Fr Giacomo, Fr John Kelly (Dublin), and Fr Michael Donnelly (USA) for celebrating the Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Catherine Grimley and the CBS Choir for their beautiful singing and music, which we know Mummy would have loved. We would also like to thank Martin Kelly Funeral Directors for their compassion, guidance, and professionalism throughout this difficult time, and the medical staff at Craigavon Area Hospital.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude. Cathy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Chapel, Armagh, on Wednesday 4th February at 7.30pm, followed by a light supper in the Pearse Óg’s Social Club.
