We, the family of the late Charles John Elmer Glass, wish to express our sincere gratitude to those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to the entire family, friends and neighbours, to those who called at the family home, sent cards, gifts, letters of condolence and to those who phoned and sent text or social media messages; to those who attended the funeral service and who kindly gave donations to Dementia NI.
We extend a special thank you to Rev. Paul Fitzsimons and Rev. Gordon Ferguson for their pastoral care during Elmer’s illness and their participation in the funeral services. Thank you to Rev. David McMillan, Rev. Maurice Baxter and his wife, who all participated in conducting the funeral services at the family home, at Mullaglass Free Presbyterian Church and at the graveside.
Thanks to organist, Mrs. Lisa Moffett and pianist, Mrs. Ruth Henning.
Thanks to the GPs and staff of Meadowlands Surgery, Newry; District Nurses; Ambulance Staff and Doctors and Nurses of Male Medical, Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry. A special thank you to all the Carers who looked after Elmer so diligently and professionally whilst he was at home.
Thank you to John Murdoch Funeral Director and staff for their caring, dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were organised and carried out.
