Bella Connolly, wife of the late Charles Connolly, and his family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all those who offered support, comfort, and sympathy during their recent sad bereavement.
Our sincere thanks go to our extended family, friends, and kind neighbours whose presence, love, and practical help brought great comfort to us. We deeply appreciate everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, or attended the wake and Requiem Mass.
Charles is dearly missed by the entire family, who would like to express their deepest gratitude to their mother, Bella, for the wonderful, loving care she gave to him throughout his illness.
Acknowledgment is extended to the staff at South Western Acute Hospital, Three Rivers Residential Home, and all community carers for their attendance and care.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Jacqueline Fox and Marie Connolly for providing the music and sharing their beautiful voices, and to Eamonn Donnelly for his musical accompaniment, which made the service so memorable.
Special thanks to Fr Eamonn Graham and Fr Peter McCawille for their spiritual guidance, prayers, and beautiful celebration of the Requiem Mass. We also deeply appreciate Fr Malachy Gallagher, Fr Joe Gormley and Fr Kevin McElhennon for their comfort, prayers, and spiritual guidance during their visits to the family home.
We are deeply grateful to Peter O'Kane and everyone from O'Kane Funeral Directors for the dignified and respectful manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, to the gravedigger for preparing Charles's final resting place, to Farleys for providing refreshments after the burial and to Drumragh GAA club for providing their function room.
Charles’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church, Omagh, on Saturday, 18th July at 5:30pm.
