The family of the late Charlie Duncan R.I.P. wish to express their sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who called at the house, attended the funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, brought food and shared their memories with us.

A special word of thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff from Portglenone Health Centre for their care to Charlie over the last few months. To the team of doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff at the MacMillan Unit, Antrim, for the care and compassion given to Charlie and his family, it was greatly appreciated.

Thank you to Fr. Joseph Rooney P.P. for calling with Charlie at the family home and during his time in hospital Also for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass. To Una McGill for the wonderful music and her uplifting singing of the Green Glens of Antrim. Also to Kieran Convery for playing the final lament at the graveside.

Our thanks to Joe Cunning, Cunning Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in conducting the funeral arrangements.

Finally thanks to Roger Casements GAC for the use of their clubrooms and to Iris’ Farmhouse Cuisine for providing the refreshments after the funeral.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Charlie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 12th June at 7pm in St. Mary’s Church, Portglenone.
