Charlie KELLY
1st Anniversary
In loving memory of Charlie Kelly, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, brother-in-law and friend who passed away on 6th January 2023.
God saw Charlie getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around him
and whispered, “Come to me”
With tearful eyes we watched him
and saw him pass away
and although we love him dearly
we could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best
We thought of Charlie with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about him yesterday
And the days before that too.
Charlies memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part.
God has him in his keeping,
We have Charlie in our hearts.
Charlie is sorely missed by the Kelly and Friel families and all his many friends.
Charlie’s First Anniversary Mass will take place in St Columb's Church, Chapel Road, on Friday 5th January 2024 at 7.30pm.
