Charlie KELLY

Charlie’s wife Grace and son Gerard plus the Kelly and Friel families would like to thank all who gave us comfort and support during our time of loss.

All the nurses, doctors, and paramedics who looked after Charlie. Our Parish priest Rev Fr Canny for his visits, advice and beautiful requiem Mass. Thank you all.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent those beautiful flowers that we saw sitting there.
Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say.
Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts,
We thank you so much for whatever part.

A special word of appreciation to all who gave of their time and love in helping us through the Wake including close friends and neighbours.

To Charlie’s friends and his many fellow postal workers, who gave him such a memorable final journey on January 10, thank you very much.

To all who visited Charlie throughout his illness and those who kept Charlie in their thoughts and prayers, thank you. Your comforting expressions of sympathy will always be remembered with deepest gratitude.

Thanks also to undertaker Kieran O’Brien for the professional and dignified service provided by his team

Padre Pio watch over us.

The Month’s Mind Mass in Charlie’s memory will be celebrated on Friday 3 February at 7.30pm in St. Columb’s Church, Waterside.

Have you considered?
